To our knowledge, the fastest Razer shoes to date were on Sunfire Blue Chip winning Race 1 at Meadowlands on December 12th in 1:49.4 USA (1:08.1 EUR).
For those not familiar with trotting times, “In USA it is always a 1 mile race and sub 1.50.0 is still a very fast mile in Europe where they race over various distances. Thats why they time in averages kilometer time,” says Conny Svensson.
Sunfire Blue Chip is trained by Jimmy Takter and shod by Conny Svensson.
“He is coming back from a P1 fracture and one year of stud duty. This was only hiss fourth race back,” says Svensson. “The Razer shoes, with their flexibility and ability to slide in the landing, take a lot of strain off the injury.”
