“I run a stud who is really gritty and turny. He doesn’t worry too much about taking care of himself so we had alot of ground trouble, even at jackpots. I switched to Razers before running him at several of the big winter rodeos this year. He has handled the varying conditions much better ever since the switch and continues to gain confidence with every run, even on rodeo ground,” says Cally Thomas.
We’re very excited to welcome Cally and TR Illuminator Cash to Team Razerhorse.
Cally is currently riding two full brothers that her family has raised, and are full brothers to Dolly, the mare that took Jill Moody to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo 4 times.
Last year, she was second at Guymon, Casper, and Bowman and won Onida, Aberdeen, and Killdeer. She also made the Final Four at the All American Finals. She says that winning the Badlands Circuit Finals and Year-End was a highlight of the year and advanced them to Kissimmee for the RAM National Circuit Finals where they placed in the first round.
Cally lives in central South Dakota on a family owned and operated ranch. They raise purebred cattle, quarter horses, and have a pheasant hunting preserve. She’s been rodeoing since she was 8 years old and has had the opportunity to do well on many horses that her family raised.
